Ive bought nightfall and eye of the north, but I don't have the 2 xtra characters

what do I need to buy to have an assassin and a ritualist?

You need Guild Wars Factions to have access to both the assassin and ritualist professions.

NightFall gives you the Paragon and Dervish; Eye of the North doesn't unlock or introduce any new professions.

Tlaloc is correct.

To add to what he said, EoTN is classed as a stand alone game, although technically it requires prophecies to play - therefore it gives additional content (suggested for more experienced player) but no new professions, as you are expected to be skilled at the current professions due to the difficulty which can occur.

1. EotN is not a stand-alone game, its an expansion. Factions and Nightfall are stand-alone games.
2. It needs one of the 3 stand-alone games *Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall* not only Prophecies and no other.

Although when they started selling Bonus mission packs, I got slightly angered, but their cheap as chips. I just thought, right, we payed for the game in full - tell us the story, don't make us buy it.
